Better Than Sex Cake

Smash vanilla wafers with rolling pin.
Melt 1/4 pound margarine.
Mix well together; spread in a 13 x 9-inch casserole. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Mix the cream cheese and 1/4 pound margarine; spread on wafers.
Spread crushed pineapple, banana slices and strawberry slices.
Add Cool Whip on top.
Top with crushed walnuts or pecans.
