Beer Chicken
Beer Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 c. chopped red onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery and 2 cloves garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Rinse chicken pieces with cool water.
Pat dry with paper towels.
In a large skillet, heat the oil.
Brown chicken pieces on all sides.
Sprinkle chopped onion, celery, garlic, salt and pepper over chicken.
Add enough beer to barely cover chicken. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is done to your liking.
Juices should run clear when pierced with a fork.
Serve hot with extra celery sprinkled over the top.
