Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cut up stew meat or 1 lb. hamburg, 1 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. butter, 2 tbsp. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook and stir meat and onion in butter until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes.
Stir frequently.
Remove from heat and stir in soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and heat through using low heat. Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes or toast.
