Beef Stew
Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. beef chuck, 2/3 c. cooking oil, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 1/2 c. red wine and 2 bay leaves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cut the meat into 1-inch squares and saute in oil with onions. Add all ingredients.
Add 1 can of tomato sauce with wine.
Bring to a quick boil and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
Add potatoes after 1 1/2 hours.
Let it cook another 30 minutes.
The final stew mixture should be thick.
Taste it for seasoning before serving.
Makes 12 servings.
