Beef Brisket
Beef Brisket is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. brisket of beef, 2 c. chopped onion, 1 c. chopped celery, 2 c. sliced carrots and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Salt and pepper brisket.
Brown fat side of brisket in a large frying pan.
Put brisket in roasting pan, brown side up.
Brown onion in frying pan.
Place on top of brisket.
Place carrots and celery around brisket; add 1 cup of water.
Cover and cook 3 hours at 350Β°.
When done, remove from pan.
Stir in cornstarch and water to make gravy.
