Beef and Mushroom Pie
Beef And Mushroom Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 1 pkg. beef-flavor rice-a-roni, 1 lb. ground beef, 2 1/2 c. hot water and 1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In butter or margarine, light brown rice and vermicelli.
Add ground beef; finely crumble and continue browning.
Stir in hot water, mushrooms, contents of beef flavor packet, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Cool slightly; stir in well-beaten eggs.
Fill a 9-inch unbaked pie shell with Rice-A-Roni mixture. Garnish top with slices of bacon.
Bake on cookie sheet at 400Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
