Barbecued Beef
Barbecued Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. pot roast, 2 tsp. lawry's salt, 2 c. water, 1 pkg. mccormick beef stew seasoning mix and 8 oz. can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Rub seasoned salt into roast.
Brown lightly.
Add water; cover and simmer until tender (2 to 2 1/2 hours).
Remove meat from juice to cool.
Measure 2 cups meat juice.
Add tomato sauce and beef stew mix.
Add brown sugar.
Simmer for 20 minutes. Shred meat and add to sauce.
Makes delicious sandwiches.
Serves 8 to 10.
