Barbecue Pork on Buns
Barbecue Pork On Buns is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (5 to 6 lb.) boston butt, 1 1/2 c. hickory flavored barbecue sauce, 3/4 c. catsup and 2 tbsp. prepared mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Bring pork to boil in lightly salted water.
Cover; reduce to simmer and cover 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Remove pork, discard water and cool.
Remove bone and fat; discard.
Coarsely chop lean meat and place in saucepan.
Mix barbecue sauce, catsup and mustard; stir into meat.
Heat thoroughly.
May need to add water to keep meat from sticking.
Makes approximately 18 sandwiches.
