Banana Pineapple Loaf
Banana Pineapple Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, softened, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 c. mashed ripe banana and 4 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Stir in bananas.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and add to butter mixture.
Fold in pineapple, coconut and pecans.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Test with toothpick for doneness.
Wonderful sliced, buttered and toasted for breakfast.
For lunch, spread cream cheese on slices and serve as a little sandwich.
