Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. liquid shortening (oil) and 3 eggs (unbeaten), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large bowl, mix sugar, flour and salt.
Add and mix by hand the shortening (oil), unbeaten eggs, vanilla and baking soda dissolved in buttermilk.
Add pecans and bananas.
Pour into 2 loaf pans or a large ring mold.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
