Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cooking oil, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten, 3 ripe bananas, mashed and 2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat oil and sugar together.
Add eggs and banana pulp. Blend well.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla extract to mixture.
Mix well and stir in nuts.
I do all the mixing by hand with wire whisk.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for about 1 hour.
Cool well and store overnight before cutting.
Good with 6 to 8 ounces of cream cheese and apricot preserves for tea sandwiches.
Bananas must be very ripe for best bread.
Yields 1 loaf.
