Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 3/4 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift flour.
Add baking powder, baking soda and salt; sift again.
Cream shortening.
Add sugar.
Continue beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; mix until smooth.
Slowly alternate dry ingredients and mashed bananas, stirring just enough to combine thoroughly.
Do not beat.
Put into greased loaf pan, 9 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
