Preheat oven tomatoes and cut a thin slice off top.

Scoop out pulp into a bowl.

Mix pulp, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, seasonings and green onion.

Place tomato shells in an 8-inch square a pie pan. Divide pulp mixture evenly between the tomatoes, placing in hollow carefully. Mix melted margarine remaining 1/4 bread crumbs and sprinkle on top tomatoes.

Bake for 25 minutes or until tomatoes are tender, then sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese (if you like) on top of tomatoes while still hot.
