Baked Squash
Baked Squash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. squash, 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 2 slices bread, soaked in milk, 1 1/2 c. grated cheese and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook squash until tender.
Drain and mash with butter, salt and pepper.
Add slightly beaten egg, bread and onion.
Mix all well.
Pour 1/2 mixture in casserole.
Then add cheese to top. Add remaining mixture and top with cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
