Place fish in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Add 1/2 cup milk.

Bake in a 350Β° oven for 30 minutes. Melt butter and flour. Blend gradually.

Cook over low heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly. Add sherry flavoring and cheese.

Pour over fish and broil until golden. Serves 4 to 6.
