Baked Peaches
Baked Peaches is an easy dinner. Made with 6 peaches, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Peel, halve and pit peaches.
In 1-quart saucepan, over medium high heat, heat sugar, lemon juice, butter and water to boiling.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Place peaches in a 3-quart casserole. Add syrup, cover and bake 30 minutes or until peaches are tender.
Place a little mint jelly in each half if you like.
Serve, drained, as a garnish for a meat dish or as a dessert.
