Baked Lasagna
Baked Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 lb. ground lean pork (sausage), 1 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, crushed and 1 can tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook ground beef, ground pork, onion and garlic in Dutch oven until meat is brown.
Drain off excess fat.
Add tomatoes and break up with a fork.
Stir in tomato sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley flakes, the sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and basil.
Simmer uncovered 1 hour until mixture is like good spaghetti sauce.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
