Baked "Fried" Chicken
Baked "Fried" Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 chicken breasts, 1 pkg. long saltine crackers, 1 stick margarine and garlic salt (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Skin chicken breasts.
Melt margarine; set aside.
Crush crackers.
Roll chicken breasts in melted margarine, then in cracker crumbs.
Place the chicken breasts in a casserole dish and sprinkle with garlic salt, if desired.
Bake at 350° to 375° for about an hour.
If breasts are large, it may take a little longer than an hour.
