Baked Custard is an easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1/2 c. milk, 1/8 tsp. vanilla, few grains salt and sprinkle of nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Beat the egg slightly; stir in milk, salt and vanilla.
If you wish, add artificial sweetener to flavor.
Pour into custard cup and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Set in pan of hot water and bake in 350Β° oven 45 minutes.
Other flavors such as almond, lemon, orange or maple may be used in place of vanilla.
One serving equals 1/2 cup milk and 1 meat exchange.
