Baked Chicken with Rice
Baked Chicken With Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. uncooked regular rice, 1 (1 3/8 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix or 1 chopped onion, 2 (2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer chickens, cut up, pepper to taste and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Spread rice evenly in bottom of a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle with 1/2 onion soup mix or 1/2 of chopped onion.
Place chicken on rice; sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix or chopped onion and pepper.
Combine soups and water; blend well and pour over chicken.
Cover; bake at 325Β° for 2 hours.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
