Baked Caramel Popcorn
Baked Caramel Popcorn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. or 2 sticks butter or margarine, 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark), 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter.
Stir in syrup and brown sugar.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil without stirring 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in soda, vanilla and salt.
Gradually pour over popped corn, mixing well.
Turn into a large greased roaster or baking pans.
Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely.
Break apart.
Store in tightly covered container.
Makes 5 quarts.
