Bacon and Creamed Topped Tomatoes
Bacon And Creamed Topped Tomatoes is an easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 1/2 c. dairy sour cream, 4 medium tomatoes and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
Drain on paper towel and crumble.
Combine bacon and blend with sour cream.
Cut ends off tomatoes and cut tomatoes in half.
Saute cut side of tomatoes in bacon drippings.
Turn over.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Top with sour cream mixture.
Cover. Saute 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
