Autumn Apple Salad
Autumn Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple, juice and all, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jell-o, 8 oz. cream cheese and 1 c. chopped apples (with peels on), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Boil pineapple and sugar together for 3 minutes.
Add lemon Jell-O, dissolve well.
Then stir in cream cheese until all melted; let cool.
Add apples, celery, pecans and Cool Whip.
Put in dish to congeal and put in refrigerator to set.
Serve on lettuce leaf.
