Asparagus Casserole
Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans cut asparagus or comparable amount fresh, 2 c. soda cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. butter, melted, 1 c. slivered almonds and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix cheese, cracker crumbs and melted butter.
Press firmly in bottom of a buttered 8 x 10-inch glass casserole dish.
Add asparagus liquid to the soup.
Arrange asparagus over the cracker crust.
Sprinkle over this the nuts, then add the soup mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350Β°.
After removing from oven, let stand a few minutes before serving.
Yields 10 generous servings.
