Asparagus Casserole
Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can asparagus, 2 c. cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 lb. cheese (your choice) and 1 c. finely chopped nuts (almonds or pecans), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain asparagus, save liquid.
Grate cheese and mix it with cracker crumbs.
Mix liquid from asparagus tips with cream of mushroom soup.
Put a thin layer of cracker and cheese mixture in bottom of greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole.
Add a layer of asparagus tips, sprinkle with nuts.
Continue 2 layers; top with remaining cheese and cracker mixture.
Pour soup over all.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
