Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. diced dried apricots, 1/2 c. golden raisins, 2 c. water, 2 c. sugar and dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Snip apricots into 4 to 5 pieces each.
Cook apricots and raisins in 2 cups water until soft and mushy, about 5 minutes.
Add sugar, spices, salt and margarine.
Mix and cool.
Add eggs, flour and soda.
Stir well with wooden spoon.
Grease, flour and wax paper line loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 55 minutes, or until done with toothpick test.
