Apricot Bread

Cook dried apricots in 1 cup water.
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, salt and buttermilk.
Sift flour, soda and baking powder; add nuts.
Mix with batter.
Fold in apricots.

Bake in large loaf pan for 1 1/4 hours at 350Β°.
