Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dried apricots, 1/2 c. water, 1 stick margarine, 1 c. sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Soak dried chopped apricots in water at least 1 hour.
Drain and reserve 1/4 cup liquid.
Cream margarine and sugar; add egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange juice and reserved water.
Stir in apricots and nuts.
Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan or 2 small pans at 350Β° about 1 hour.
Let cool before slicing.
This freezes well.
If not enough water leftover from apricots, add water to get desired amount.
