Apricot-Banana Sauce
Apricot-Banana Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. apricot nectar, 2 tbsp. honey and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix cornstarch and salt with a small amount of apricot nectar in medium saucepan.
Stir in remaining apricot nectar and honey gradually.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon juice and butter. Add banana slices to sauce.
Serve over waffles, French toast or pancakes.
Yields 2 1/2 cups.
