Applesauce Cake
Applesauce Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, soft, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1 c. sifted flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Beat butter until creamy.
Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs.
Beat well.
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in raisins, nuts, applesauce and rolled oats. Pour batter into greased and floured ring mold, 1 1/2-quart size. Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes.
Loosen edges; cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
Frost with thin orange powdered sugar frosting.
