Applesauce Cake
Applesauce Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. butter or shortening, 3 eggs and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat together on medium speed the brown sugar, white sugar and butter or shortening. Add the eggs. Sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda and add 1/4 of the flour mixture to the first mixture.
Alternate flour mixture with the applesauce until all ingredients are added. Add the vanilla, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350Β° until cake does not leave imprint when touched.
