Apple Pound Cake
Apple Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. unsifted flour (plain), 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.
In a large bowl of electric mixer, beat together at medium speed the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth. Fold in apples, nuts and raisins.
Turn into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
