Apple Nut Bread
Apple Nut Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shredded carrot, 1 c. applesauce, 1/2 c. corn oil, 2 eggs and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together carrot, applesauce, oil, eggs, 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla.
Mix together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and chopped nuts.
Add to first mixture.
Do not overmix.
Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Combine 5 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over batter.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour or until pick comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
