Apple Betty Pie
Apple Betty Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sliced tart apples, 1/2 c. orange juice, 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mound apples in buttered 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice. For topping, combine sugar, flour, spices and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly, then scatter over apples.
