Apple Bacon Salad
Apple Bacon Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, 1 head romaine, torn into pieces, 3 red apples, 2/3 c. garlic oil* and 1/2 c. parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Prepare rice according to directions on package.
Meanwhile, heat water to boiling in a medium saucepan.
Add green beans and cook 2 minutes over high heat.
Add broccoli and cook 1 to 2 minutes more, until vegetables are tender crisp.
Drain and rinse under cold water.
In medium skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds, then add chicken and cook, stirring frequently, 3 to 4 minutes until chicken is no longer pink.
Remove from heat and add soy sauce, orange zest, orange juice and honey; toss to coat chicken.
In large bowl, combine cooked rice, broccoli, green beans and chicken mixture.
Stir in carrots, red pepper and green onions; toss to coat.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
