Angel Pie
Angel Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 egg whites, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 3/4 c. powdered sugar, whipping cream (1/2 pt. or more) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 300Β°.
Beat egg whites stiff.
Slowly add both sugars, beating constantly.
Lightly butter 9 or 10-inch Pyrex pie plate.
Pour in meringue mixture.
Bake 1 hour.
Remove from oven; cool.
If center of pie shell doesn't fall, push in.
When cooked, fill with sweetened whipped cream.
Top with grated chocolate. Decorate with strawberries or raspberries.
Refrigerate.
