Angel Food Cake
Angel Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sifted cake flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 12 egg whites and 1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour with 3/4 cup sugar and salt 4 times.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Add remaining sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time.
Beat well after each addition. Sift 1/4 cup flour mixture by fourths.
Turn into 10-inch tube pan. Bake in preheated 375Β° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
Invert pan on funnel.
Cool completely.
Remove from pan.
Yields 10 to 12 servings.
