Angel Cookies
Angel Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or margarine, 2/3 c. white sugar, 1 c. flaked coconut, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream butter and white sugar, add coconut and vanilla, mix well.
Mix in flour.
Chill for 1/2 hour then make into rolls. Wrap rolls in waxed paper and chill overnight.
Cut thin slices 1/8-inch thick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press with fork and bake at 300Β° for about 25 minutes.
Watch so they don't burn. Roll in powdered sugar.
Yields about 4 dozen.
They freeze well.
