Angel Chip Cookies
Angel Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. crisco, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream together Crisco and sugar.
Stir in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar and then mix well into creamed ingredients.
Chill overnight in refrigerator or for few hours.
Roll in small balls about the size of hickory nut. Press down little with fork.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes to a delicate brown.
Loosen from pan while still warm.
