Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. unsifted flour, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. shortening, 1 tsp. salt and 5 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk. Mix well.
Roll out on floured board and cut out as biscuits. They do not need to rise before baking. Bake at 400Β° for approximately 20 minutes. Unused dough will keep up to a week if well covered and refrigerated. After cutting as biscuits, you may brush on a bit of melted margarine and turn over as Parker House rolls.
