Almond Roca Candy
Almond Roca Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter or margarine, 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1 lb. melted chocolate, 4 tbsp. water and 1/4 to 1/2 lb. almonds, cut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Put butter in skillet and heat until bubbly but not brown.
Add rest of ingredients except chocolate and cook over hot heat, stirring constantly until almonds are toasted through and sugar is light medium brown.
Pour into 2 buttered pans (10 x 15-inches). Cool and spread with half the melted chocolate.
Sprinkle with ground walnuts and let chocolate harden.
Turn and repeat on other side.
Break in pieces.
