Zesty Carrots
Zesty Carrots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. carrots, sliced 1/4-inch thick, 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish, 3/4 tsp. lemon pepper, 1 c. soft bread crumbs and 2 tbsp. grated onion with juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook carrots in a small amount of water for 5 minutes.
Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the water for sauce.
Combine onion with juice, horseradish, mayonnaise, lemon pepper and reserved water. Put carrots in a 2-quart buttered casserole.
Cover with sauce. Top with a mixture of cheese and bread crumbs and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
