Zahtar
Zahtar is an easy dinner. Made with basic dough (see recipe), 1/4 c. sesame seed, 1 c. zahtar and oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine zahtar with sesame seed and sufficient oil to form a thin paste.
Mix well.
Make patties of basic dough and flatten to form circles with a 7-inch diameter.
Spread zahtar mixture on top, pressing it in with fingers.
Place patties on oiled baking sheet.
Bake at 470Β° for about 10 minutes.
Cut circles into wedges (like pizza) and serve.
May be eaten warm or cold.
