Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 c. flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. shortening, 1 tsp. salt and 2 c. boiling water, let cool to room temperature, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Flour, salt, sugar and shortening.
When shortening is mixed well through the flour, combine egg with the yeast and water and mix well.
Add to flour mixture.
Knead together and turn out on floured board, kneading until it forms dough.
Put in a large bowl, greasing the top and let stand 2 or 3 hours. Then knead into small rolls.
Let stand an hour.
Grease tops of rolls with butter and bake in hot oven for 20 minutes.
If you don't the dough at once, store in the refrigerator.
