Yeast Dinner Rolls

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Scald milk and cool. Add water, cooled shortening, sugar, salt and the yeast.
Mix well and add enough flour to make a slightly firm dough, about 6 cups. Let rise until double in bulk.
Then make into desired roll shapes and let rise until double. Bake at 400Β° until golden brown.
Brush with melted butter.
