Yeast Bread
Yeast Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 pkg. yeast, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. lard or crisco, 5 c. warm water and 2 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add enough flour to make stiff mix with mixer until it gets too thick.
Then put on counter; put flour on counter and mix for 5 to 10 minutes, kneading good.
Put in a pan sprayed with Pam.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Then work again, dividing dough into 4 pieces.
Make 4 loaves.
Cover dough with clean cloth; let raise again until double.
Bake at 375Β° until brown.
