Yeast Biscuits
Yeast Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 3/4 c. vegetable shortening, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 tbsp. sugar and 2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Dissolve yeast cake in water.
Sift dry ingredients together; cut in shortening thoroughly.
Add buttermilk in dissolved yeast and mix with spoon until flour is moistened.
