World'S Best Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1 egg and 1 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and

Add corn flakes, oatmeal, coconut and nuts.
Mix well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.

Shape dough size of hickory nuts. Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet and press flat with a fork that has been dipped in melted butter and sugar.
Bake at 325Β° for 12 minutes.
