Wonderful Walnut (Or Pecan) Pie
Wonderful Walnut (Or Pecan) Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 unbaked 8 inch piecrust shell, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream brown sugar and butter or margarine in double boiler. Stir in sugar, eggs, salt, syrup and cream, and cook for 5 minutes over hot, NOT boiling water.
Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla.
Pour into piecrust shell and bake 50 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove from oven and arrange about 7 walnut or pecan halves on top and bake 15 more minutes.
Serves 6.
