Wine-Soaked Cake
Wine-Soaked Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 stick margarine and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Beat eggs and sugar.
Add milk, melted margarine, sifted flour and baking powder.
Mix together.
Bake at 350Β° in small Bundt pan until brown.
Cool and remove from pan.
Mix 1 cup sugar with 1 1/4 cups water and boil until clear.
Pour over cake a little at a time, letting it sink in.
Before serving, may pour wine or rum over cake and serve with whipped cream.
Good also with fruit! Serves 8.
